My friends know that I have a thing for dice – it all kicked off when I read the spectacular book, “The Dice Man”, by Luke Rhinehart. Read it…trust me. But as much as I love those little cubes, artist Anthony Cragg is OBSESSED. Check out these ridiculously amazing dice sculptures.

Artist Brian Dettmer painstakingly carves out individual pages from old encyclopedias, medical manuals, and illustration books to create stunning literary-sculptures. Nothing you see below was added to the book…every image and word was part of the original and revealed through the cutting process. Wow.

The World’s Smallest Stop-Motion Video

Meet Dot, probably the tiniest heroine you’ve ever seen. This stop-motion video was shot using Cellscope, a high-quality microscope that attaches to a cellphone camera. The amount of patience and meticulousness that was needed to create this is truly mindblowing.
