Behold, The Tallest Lego Tower On The Planet.

It’s a good thing I wasn’t anywhere near this 102 ft tall Lego tower in Brazil…my destructive tendencies would have taken over and I would have knocked that sucker over, creating a rainshower of Lego blocks for all the little Brazilian children to enjoy!

Attn Academy Awards Producers: Just Add Legos

It’s a proven and undisputed scientific fact that Legos can make anything better.  Check out the theory in action with these Lego-fied posters for this year’s Best Film Oscar nominees:

I Lego NY

Designer Christopher Niemann doesn’t need 5000 legos and 50 hours of painstaking work to build his NYC-inspired creations.  The former New Yorker’s refreshingly simple vignettes were originally dreamed up using his son’s toys during a bleak winter in Berlin.  Whether it was homesickness or boredom that sparked Niemann’s creativity, there’s something undeniably charming about the images that fill up his book, “I Lego NY“.  Here are some of my favorites:

Legos + “The Matrix” = Woah

10 years ago (!!!), my friends and I stood in line for 5 hours to see the premiere screening of “The Matrix”.  Yes, we were (are) dorks.  The iconic “bullet-time” scene has been imitated and parodied countless times since then – here’s a recent re-enactment using everyone’s favorite toy:  Legos.
