Don’t Forget Your (Pocket) Protection

Before pop-culture turned pocket protectors into geeky Scarlet Letters, I thought they were the coolest things on the planet.  I’ll never forget my Grandpa taking out a slim black pen from his pocket protector to do the Word Jumble in the Sunday paper.  The amazing website ‘It’s Okay To Be Smart’ has unearthed a collection of images of countless vintage pocket protectors – these are some of my faves:
