You might not be geeky enough to notice or care, but the SS Enterprise’s warp drive has really evolved throughout the years. Check out this video which shows the warp effects from the first ‘Star Trek’ movies all the way to the most recent. Oddly enough, it’s been a boring evolution, starting out as a sparkly rainbow disco-tunnel in 1979 and ending up as a bland, undramatic blip in JJ Abram’s latest film. Engage:
